Missourians should never feel forgotten by the people elected to represent them. Elizabeth Sparks-Holmes is running for Congress because she believes every family, every senior, every small business owner, every veteran, and every community deserves a representative who is accessible, responsive, and ready to work.
Elizabeth's campaign is rooted in face-to-face conversations, practical solutions, and the belief that public service should still mean service. From affordability and housing to eldercare, mental health, safe communities, and responsible spending, Elizabeth is focused on the issues people talk about at kitchen tables, in local businesses, and on front porches across Missouri's 2nd District.
This campaign is about building something better - not by shouting louder, but by listening harder, showing up consistently, and bringing Missouri common sense to Washington.
Elizabeth believes voters deserve a representative they can reach. Her campaign is committed to town halls, listening sessions, candidate forums, local interviews, and direct constituent service.
Families are feeling the pressure of inflation, high costs, gas prices, and housing strain. Elizabeth will fight for responsible spending and policies that respect every hard-earned dollar.
Elizabeth will be a voice for seniors, caregivers, families facing mental-health challenges, veterans, and communities that want safety, accountability, and second chances that work.
About
For more than 34 years, Missouri has been home for Elizabeth Sparks-Holmes. The St. Louis area is where she and her husband built their family life, raised their son, and formed lasting relationships in the community she now hopes to serve in Congress.
Elizabeth originally comes from Fort Worth, Texas, and studied at Randolph-Macon Woman's College and Texas Christian University before making Missouri her home. She points to family examples of public service, faith, and community responsibility as part of what shaped her own desire to serve.
Her father's work in water-resource stewardship and her mother's service as a hospice volunteer helped Elizabeth understand that public service is not only about office or title. It is about showing up for people, listening carefully, and doing the steady work that helps families and communities move forward.
After becoming a mother, Elizabeth dedicated years to raising her son with faith, strong values, and a sense of responsibility. That experience continues to shape how she thinks about families who are working hard, managing household budgets, caring for loved ones, and planning for the future.
Elizabeth is running for Congress because she believes Missouri families deserve a representative who is accessible, responsive, and focused on the needs of everyday people. Her campaign is centered on direct conversations, constituent service, practical priorities, and a belief that the Spirit of St. Louis can be carried to Washington through steady, respectful leadership.
